Sustainability is what we focus on

We do not produce any direct production waste (wood waste): We produce around 200,000 tonnes of wood pellets each year from the waste materials generated during timber processing. This enables us to supply around 40,000 households with heat from wood.

We also set the benchmark for quality in the electronics sector: We meet the majority of our own electricity consumption with electricity we generate ourselves from renewable sources such as solar panels and our biomass cogeneration plants.

Our products: Best wood – naturally certified

We purchase round logs from domestic, sustainably cultivated and solely PEFC certified forests. We mainly process spruce, as well as a lower amount of fir. Due to ecological and economical reasons we keep transport distances as minimal as possible.
